Oh the temps were great.
About 5:30 the rain and wind really moved in.(Addison county)
I would have stayed home too,
Hope he feels better soon.

Most years I'll go to Mass and then the parade with my cousins (went to the Rutland parade as a kid even from the NEK, then some parties, back then). This year, I'm sitting at home holding a block of ice on a toothache watching the parade on TV. Given the weather, maybe it's just as well I wasn't up to going anywhere, but it would of given me the perfect excuse to wear my WWI uniform I just completed collecting.

Giving out candy, but slowly! The rain is so heavy and the trick or treaters are coming few and far between.

My son chose not to trick or treat this year. So we made a bunch of fun Halloween foods (mummy pizzas, carrot eyeballs, dirt with worms, pumpkin pie) and are chilling out, maybe going to watch an old time monster movie.

Had a toothache earlier this week, I think it was due to my sinuses. Seem to be fighting off something, hope you get well soon.

Most of channel 5 News was off sick Friday as I recall.
Don't see that often.

Thanks...and you get better too.

That is pretty strange, about the news...seems this is getting to be a bad year for illnesses, etc., for a lot of people.

Looks like the 50th annual Rutland Hallowe'en Parade was a huge success:

I missed the parade this year for the first time in a long time! Since I've been fighting a sore throat/cold type sickness I didn't think standing out in the rain would be a good idea. I did take my daughter door to door in a neighboring town. I ended out soaked regardless, but was able to come right home and take a hot shower after. The temperature was great outside! Too bad the rain didn't hold off just a few more hours.
