What's your favorite video-game system? What is your favorite game?

My favorite system is the Xbox 360.

Favorite game-Halo 2...soon Halo 3

This is my kinda thread. I'm in investment banking and work generally long hours, and my wife and I just had our first child, so I haven't played nearly as much as I used to. However, since I don't smoke, to kill stress, nothing beats a little X-Box Live. Personally, I play a lot of Fight Night R3, and a lot of Gears of War. Recently, I got Guitar Hero II, which is a ball, especially when having friends over. It's like DDR for people who don't want to make an ass out of themselves. I got a PS3 when it came out as well, however after about 4 months I gave it to my brother in law for his bachelor party gift. I enjoyed it, but the online interface was difficult to get used to after playing a whole lot of 360. Also, some people say that the graphics of PS3 are better than 360, but the only realy difference I can distinguish is that they aren't better, but just different. I think SONY tried to make it look a little too realistic, and somehow ended up taking some of the video game fun out.

Other than these two, I bring my PSP when I'm on business. It's sorta funny; GS puts me in first class with these stuffy types on their PalmPilots the entire flight sweating bullets about goodness knows what, and I'm just laid back playing a little Midnight Club Racing like the 24 year old teenager I am. In fact, my niece just got a Nintendo Wii last Christmas, and let me tell ya, this system is pretty one-dimensional as far as games, but still a heck of a lot of fun. Won't buy one, but won't hesitate to pick it up when I visit my brother.

PS2 is pretty alright as well, but more of a throwback for me now with the 360. I rarely play anything but Tiger Woods on it, which I actually haven't even played in the last 2 months anyway.

Ya Xbox Live is definately better than the PS3 online games. Mircosoft has been known for having a better online network. Ya Guitar Hero II is fun, its my second favorite game.

You're exactly right about Sony making their graphics too realistic-I could never figure why I liked the Xbox graphics more than PS3, but now I do.

I used to play video games all the time but I don't so much any more. My first console was a Nintendo 64, my second a PlayStation 2, and now I have an Xbox 360. My favourite game is NHL 07 but 08 is coming out soon and I can't wait for it. Also GTA IV is coming out a only few days after my birthday and that looks awesome too!
