It really depends on what kind of games you like. If you like light hearted, non-serious games then you will probably enjoy it. If you only like hardcore, bloody games then you probably won't.

We tried the Indiana Jones one and the controls were so bad we gave up.

The only one I have played is the Star Wars ones and the only trouble I had is with the camera angles.

They are light hearted and family fun. Their depictions of scenes from their respective IP are pretty funny.

As for your questions...
- Kids Game? More like Family game. It is for all to enjoy. Remember Indiana Jones and Star Wars (original trilogy - which they started with) were from your decade, not current kids.
- Star Wars? I enjoyed Lego Star Wars 2 (original trilogy). I heard Complete Story was pretty good. As for Clone Wars, it didn't spark my interest. Not a fan of the cartoon for various reasons. I looked a giantbomb quick look and the gameplay had lots of RTS elements, which is a big turn off for me. Thus, why I passed on it.
- Indiana Jones? I played the original version and I found it enjoyable. Indiana Jones 2 is essentially a remake with new levels and the newest movie included. I heard it was terrible.

I'm a 40 year old hardcore FPS gamer, and I still enjoy playing the lego games. Hard to say if they are right for you, as each person's taste differs, but I personally like them.

As a 30 year-old I enjoyed the original Indiana Jones and Star Wars games--if simply for the fact that I enjoyed playing through scenes of the classic trilogies and that the action was fun. Probably the nostalgia factor alone made them an enjoyable but fairly quick games to play through. Didn't make it through the Star Wars prequels(kind of got bored) and I haven't played anything else, but it was a fun enough diversion.

The lego games are great co op. They are a little too simplistic for me as a single player. The best part is the game is so easy to play, anyway can join in. It's quite humorous to play with a friend or group of friends online or offline.

I hope you don't limit yourself by 'kid games' vs. 'mature games'! Lots of all-ages games are fun to play. I'm over 40 and enjoy Animal Crossing! It's very peaceful to stand by the surf and fish...
