Hmm... Depends on what you want out of them. The Balance Board is not supported by many games on the Wii, so if you only want to use that, I'd go with the Xbox.

But, personally, I find Nintendo games to be the most fun. I'd take Mario and friends over war games any day of the week. So if you're in it for gaming (especially the family-friendly kind), I'd say the Wii.

I have the Kinect, and I've used a Wii Board.
The Kinect is really cool, if you have the space. I moved recently and no longer have enough room to use it.
I really enjoyed the Wii games. There were different things you could do with the Wii. I enjoyed doing the soccer thing where you hit the ball with your head by leaning side to side on the board. Or where you sit on the board and meditate and you can't move. Sounds easy, but it's not!
Wii can really do wonders for your balance!
Although the Kinect has helped my balance too. I mostly used the Your Shape Fitness Evolved game, and some of the workouts had some kicking exercises that made a big difference for me after doing it a few times.

The Wii was a little more fun, the Kinect is great for a workout.
