I enjoyed the Sims as well.

(1) World of Warcraft
(2) Starcraft
(3) Diablo 2
(4) Age of Empires2
(5) SWTOR
(6) Out of the Park Baseball
(7)Diamond Mind Baseball
(8) Marvel Heroes
(9) DC Universe Online
(10) Starcraft2/Diablo3

Notice that they are all PC games as I do not care for any console games.

10 - LHX Attack Chopper - PC
Missions were fun. Shoot camels with multiple camera angles.

09 - Blades of Steel - NES
Very competitive with good players. BoS was a furious battle, and I'm not even a hockey fan.

08 - Doom 2 - PC
After Wolf3D, many got hooked on this one, as did I. Co-op was a hoot. DoomsdayHQ mod was awesome.

07 - Street Fighter 2 - SNES/Arcade
The famed fighting game.

06 - Quake 3 Arena - PC
Q3A FFA games were a blast. Overdrive PC FFA server. OPC, shout out to Mario Cifaldi aka b3nt.

05 - Wing Commander - PC
This game was just fun going through the missions and climbing the kills chalkboard.

04 - Mortal Kombat 2 - SNES/Arcade
MK brought some freshness to the fighting game scene and MK2 was fun with some good competition.

03 - Company of Heroes - PC
Extremely unique RTS game. So many amazingly designed units. Huge learning curve to truly master this.

02 - Call of Duty United Offensive - PC
32 vs 32 Capture the Flag on DwR server... didn't get much more fun than that.

01 - WarCraft 2 - PC
Most competitively played game I've come across. The replay value was immeasurable. 1v1/2v2/3v3/4v4 or FFA made for interesting games all the time with a HUGE pool of great players with unique styles of play back on Kali (kali.net). Shout out to all the war2 players!

List is probably not totally accurate but the top 5 are pretty solidly placed for me. I probably have not played so many great games, but here are some honorable mentions I also enjoyed.

RC Pro-AM, Contra, Life Force, Mike Tyson's Punch Out, StarCraft, RBI Baseball, Duke Nukem 3D, NBA Live, Space Quest, X-Wing vs TIE Fighter, and too many other great games. Best games are the ones that you have fond memories playing.

Very famous games, I've heard a lot about Doom and Mortal Kombat, unfortunately I never played any of them

My list is of games that were not necessarily the best made, but provided me with the best play time. MW2 was corny and laggy, but it was fun as f*ck, and isn't that what video games are about?

1) Super Mario 64 DS
2) Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros 3
3) Need for Speed Most Wanted
4) Call of Duty Black Ops
5) S.T.A.L.K.E.R Shadow of Chernobyl
6) Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2
7) Gran Turismo 4
8) Mario Kart DS
9) Far Cry 3
10) Project Gotham Racing 3

Memorable Mentions: Ridge Racer PSP, Forza Motorsport 4, Test Drive Unlimited, Call of Duty Black Ops 2, Super Mario Galaxy 2
