I work full-time but still have over 100 hours on Skyrim. I admit I took a day or two off work just to play, but there is still plenty of time after work. Plus, sleep is optional... with lots of energy drinks.

Earlier this year, I was unemployed. I would finish 25-30 hour games in one week. God I felt like a loser.

I work full-time, I go to school full-time, I have two small children, I do most all the cooking, cleaning and maintaining of the house and I still find time to play video games. However, I usually only sleep 5-6 hours a day.

I usually reserve some time for myself after everyone else goes to bed at like 11 to either read, watch some TV, play video games, write or whatever else I want to do.

I only have time on nights my gf is working. I wake up at 5:45, at work by 7:30 or so. I get home between 6 and 6:30. I try to make time for the gym right after I get home but I've really been struggling with going more than twice a week. On days I get to the gym I'm not even cooking dinner til around 8 or so. After dinner (sometimes as late as 9:30 before I get all the dishes done! ) I'll hang out in front of the tv with my gf or walk the dog or some other sort of wind-down time. That would be the time I would play if she's not around. If she is around I would feel rude playing while she's just hanging around doing nothing.

Weekends I get more time to play if she's working. If not then we are usually out or just spending time together. Altogether I get anywhere from 0-8ish hours per week, usually toward the lower end. I wish I had more time with all the good games out, but I'm a busy person and don't get a whole lot of me time these days . . .

Been gaming a lot lately as I'm off work recovering from surgery. But normally, I have to make time. I work weird hours, nights and graves rotating, so I usually game after get home while wife's asleep. We don't have kids so that helps.

Very good question. I wondered this as well. When I was a younger teenager (13-15) and didn't have much responsibility, I would play video games till the wee hours and just sleep 2-3 hours and play video games a half hour-hour before I went back to school. I used to get my gaming on hardcore.

Nowadays, I'm lucky if I am get too look at my PS3. I can go a month or more without even turning on my PS3. I really don't have time, even when work is slow. I am either training my MMA, and venturing into my other endeavors and projects I am embarking on. On top of that, I am hardly ever home and have quite an active social life.

There's times where I really want to stay home and game but it's so hard for me. I don't know how other people do it to be honest. I know a friend who works 8-10 hours a day, has a kid and still manages to get in video game time....I think it's kind of ridiculous but I can't say anything if he's taking care of his kid (as a single parent) and paying the bills.

Don't feel like a loser. Playing your ass off when you don't have a job ain't wrong. I would draw the line at -losing a job you currently have- cuz of games.
