Hi again all. As previously stated I'm only a very occasional gamer but always play the GTA's. A question, I have the PS3 slim 12 GB HD. Is this ok for full play of GTA 5 or will we run into issues only having a 12 GB HD rather than the 500GB. TIA.

As long as you have enough free space on the drive to install it, I think you should be fine. I think it requires installing 4-8GB of data first. (I can't remember the exact number but it's somewhere in that range.) That's installed from the first disc, the second disc is what you use to play the game. Save files usually don't take up that much space so I think you should be fine.

I preordered through Amazon. No lines. I can't play it until I get home from work and my daughter goes to bed anyway. And I still get it day of.

You need 8 GB to install it, so you probably will have to empty out your hard drive.

Graphics are amazing, sound quality is very realistic. I've heard a lot of complaints from the car handling but I'm not worried. The destruction is more realistic. That whole 42 min video was just the player doing missions in Los Santos so I couldn't tell how big it is, there is a more variety of pedestrians so you won't run into the same looking one over and over again like in IV.

Just got an e-mail from Amazon that my order of GTA 5 has shipped and I should get it tomorrow! Of course I already knew that but still exciting to know it's on its way!
