Of the 2000s...

That's 24 years. Hard to pick just 3.

Tears of the Kingdom has to be up there for me.

Hard to pick another two... On one hand, Xenosaga 3 is one of my favorite games ever, but it's also heavily flawed.

Eh... You know what? I'll pick two:
TotK and Fortnite. I'm not a big Fortnite player, but what they have done is nothing short of impressive.

Agreed. Very difficult to pick 3 from the past 24 years. But here are my three (in order):

1. Skyrim - Nothing comes close this perfect game.

2. Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2/3 (MW3 is the current game and is basically an upgraded MW2)

3. Elden Ring - Despite the difficulty, this was one of the most enjoyable and popular games.

Some other great games that did not make my top three: GTA San Andreas, Genshin Impact, Half Life 2.

NOTE: I am a PC gamer and do not play on any of the consoles.

If you're talking about just the 2000s decade...

1) Eternal Sonata. Really great JRPG released on 360/PS3.
2) Lost Odyssey. Another treasure only released on 360.
3) Vice City obviously.

Tons of good games. Once you open that up to 2010 and beyond, I think the aughts lag a bit.
