The original Resident Evil on the Playstation. Does anyone remember entering the Laboratory for the first time or the save room?

Still have the Zelda:OoT soundtrack cd* w/music by Koji Kondo, love the tracks "Temple of Time" & "Inside The Deku Tree". * (the US release/version of CD, with fewer tracks, which was a premium from Nintendo Power mag.)
also: Shadowman and Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem
(both of those soundtracks are on YT, so now I can listen to them over & over w/o the game)

those are my top 3, but I've only played a few different (mostly Nintendo) video game titles (10+yrs. ago).

I'm thinking of games with original music.

Mega man 3
Streets of rage 2

There are countless you tube videos of people playing the mega man 3 music on piano and sor2 had a companion CD. There are modern covers of mg3 and magnet man stage is among the best. Very catchy, and quite brilliant work really for both games.

I'd say Mega Man 2 and 3 both had the most memorable tunes in the series.

Have you checked out OCRemix? Lots of great user-created versions of game music. Every style imaginable.

Skyrim for sure. The soundtrack is simply amazing. If it were a movie, the soundtrack/music would be Oscar nominated. Its THAT good.

Out of all the games I've played there's only a few i could listen to tracks from all day. Chrono Trigger, Megaman 2, and alot from the Final Fantasy series.

True Crime Streets of LA had one of the best soundtracks of all time.

Madden 2004 was awesome too.
