I admit, I sort of almost broke out some man tears during the end of the intro level.

I put it down for the night. My save says I'm at 56% complete.

This game is a masterpiece.

Argh! I didn't even know it was out!

I guess I just assumed it would be out in the fall / winter timeframe, and didn't pay much attention to the release date. Just checked and it's got a 95 on Metacritic and overwhelmingly positive on Amazon. ...Aaaaand I just ordered it.

I finish the game today. I enjoyed it for the most part. Playing on hard, I went through trial and error in many occasions. After dying so many times, I said to myself, "how do I get past this?" At the same time, I felt playing on hard is how the game was meant to be played. I was forced to make quick decision and improvise. One of the toughest part of the game is dealing with enemies and not knowing where I need to be. That is what made it fun for me.

Pshh Im having a hard time on normal and I beat Dark Souls no problem. It would be a lot easier if you could use the shiv more than once. Im not complaining though, I like being on the edge of my seat when I play, feels more immersive to me.

There are manuals located in the game that upgrade tools. One of them will upgrade the shiv where you can use it more than once before it breaks. I only use them for the Clickers and lock doors (depending on how many I have available).
