Almost two different genre's. One it a tactical shooter, the other is a "twitch" shooter. They play distinctively differently. When we CAN start comparing two of them is when I stop playing the BF series.

Not as a knock against shooters and those who play them, but I'm done with them.

I get to a decent KD/ratio and just put it on autopilot. Battlefield was always the more interesting of the two, but without real strategy and team communication, it's just sniping and headshots. After a while you're playing the map rather than playing against people. You know where all the camping spots are and just go to town; being called a cheater because you've played the map over 1000 times.

Plus a large part on why I don't play is that I don't have many friends that play anymore.

I'm really looking forward to a game like Destiny because it has some MMO and PvE elements and that just seems more interesting to me.

So...who's got BF4 as of now? I'd have purchased it tonight, but since i just purchased GTA5 and still have no time to play it (2 year old eat's my life...and that's fine by me)....either way, just finished an hour of GTA5, and am looking forward to when i'm done with it, and loading up BF4...what do you guys think of the full game?

BF4 > BF3 by a long shot. The game runs faster, the graphics are better and the destructible environment was taken up a notch.

One thing I can say about Activision and their COD series is AT LEAST THE SERVERS WORK....EA blows when it comes to Battlefield launches. Every other game froze on me this weekend in Battlefield

I would agree that they will have to do a few patches to correct this.

Played a few rounds of Ghost last night over my nephews house and can say I will again pass on COD.

I noticed that on the COD: Ghosts commercial that I saw today, they only advertised it for Xbox One. I found that interesting, at least some sales will be lost because some people will think that it isn't on 360.

I got BF4 last week on PS3. I like it, at least in Conquest mode, very few problems at all (I've heard complaints of freezing but it has not happened to me at all except I think once when I was trying to join a game), lots more destruction then BF3 and more vehicles it seems...that's a good thing. It seems a bit more casual then BF3 in that you don't have to level up to get the good weapons and add on's - very well balanced. Maps are pretty good except I am not too crazy about the flooded city map, or the island map - those just turn into sniper and camper maps. Some of the buildings in the some of the maps you can just get lost in, they are so big.
I played a few games in Rush mode and it was chaos. Sadly the maps are just not well designed for that (neither was BF3). Makes me miss BFBC2. Haven't tried the mode yet where you carry a bomb.
