Nope, I was trying to play it today. I was able to create my character ok and I saw the intro which was pretty cool, but soon as I tried to do the first race/mission, the game just got hung up trying to find other players. That's annoying, oh well, back to the single player...

Coming out on October 1st (everyone is going crazy over Obamacare open enrollment starting 10/1) i'm like screw that i'm more interested in GTA Online.

People say that GTA Online is so big that it is pretty much a whole other game apart from GTA V (which is why i created a separate thread)

My PSN = v__U_S_A__v
What are some of the features in the Online version of GTA V?

Basically story mode with more missions and even more customization.
Plus you have those regular online game modes like Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Race, etc..

The finally released the XBox 360 Patch for GTA Online and I was able to play it. Pretty cool so far, I won the tutorial race and got a nice little prize. Now I guess I just have to find a crew...

It's a lot of fun, me and my friends were playing for hours just driving around and robbing stores and stuff. We even snuck into Fort Zancodo to steal the Hydra jet.

Online is almost as boring as GTAIV's multiplayer mode. I'm sticking to single player.

Not sure how I feel about gta online. Its a great concept, but I dunno. The races feel, not the same in the slightest as gta 5 single player. The ai during races are funky. It was like some of the on coming ai cars were flying down the streets. The ai cars seem to be like toy cars not completely on the road. But I l9ve the idea of a huge community in my game. Spices things up a bit.

I am not a fan of the online mode either. I applaud Rockstar North for trying to do something new but it is not for me.
