I have Witcher 2 from Steam - but I really have not played it very long. Perhaps it is just the PC game that I didn't like? I don't even know if it is available to the other platforms? I found the controls not friendly and the game too complicated to enjoy. Perhaps I will play it at some time in the future? I like games that are hard; but not too hard that I spend hours learning the game. I guess that you could spend hours learning any game - but this one just did not get me interested.

It is real cheap at 80% off and maybe you will like it better than I did?

It should be noted that there is a legal way to alter the North American version to the European version so you can get it uncensored. CD Projek released an unofficial patch to do this and instructions for it. Not sure if it is for the steam versions.

I love the first one. To this day, I still play it. The second one's plot and final chapter felt extremely rushed, and I also hate the controls. I want to be able to switch between fast steel/silver, strong steel/silver, and group steel/silver. I also want more than a handful of useless bombs and potions. Not being able to use potions during fights is pretty stupid. Also, if you want to be cheap, you can use Quen to shield yourself throughout all of the major fights. Recast it once it wears off. Most of all, I felt my choices didn't really matter as much in the second game as they did in the first.

I'm looking forward to the final installment of the series.
