PS4 - Watch Dogs | Launch Trailer

I just pre-ordered and will pick it up Tuesday. I got the hardcover collector's edition guide for $10.

Honestly I haven't really done a lot of research into this game but after watching a few videos I didn't have a problem making the purchase.

Looks awesome.

I'm cautiously optimistic?

I actually pre-ordered the game all the way back in, like, June 2013. I bought the Watch_Dogs launch bundle.

Then when the game got pushed back, I was still interested and now...kinda-luke-warm.

I am a bit saddened that the graphics got a downgrade, but its not that big of a deal.

The only thing that really bugs me is that it looks more and more like a bit of a GTA clone, and I've been turned off by the GTA open-world gameplay for a while, so that's why I need to see some reviews first, before I put my money down.

The fact it looked like a GTA clone is what got me interested... although I will admit I bored with GTA 5 after about a month.

At any rate, I will post a review and gameplay videos once I check it out.

I'm hesitant to pay full price too. It still looks good, but I'm waiting until I can hear more unbiased reviews and get a few bucks off.

I'm interested to know if your character does a tuck and roll every time you jump a fence/barrier. It seems like that would get on my nerves.

Let us know what you think! I'm curious only recently.

Also funny that it won't be 1080p on PS4 or XB1...where are the fanboys now?

Makes no never mind to me, my TV is only 720 because I'm too cheap to go out an buy a new one just for games.

Don't worry, despite what any fanboy will tell you, if you had a 1080 TV, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference anyway.

Depends on the size of the TV... 46" and below... probably not.

The bigger TV's the difference is noticeable.

Only when side by side.

But let us know how the game is. Latest stories out there say no cheat codes built into the game, so no carnage fun like GTA.

That would be too bad. GTA carnage was a blast... But yeah I'll post videos once I have my copy.
