That's what Kojima does most of the time. The fact that this is an entirely new IP means that he can play around with that theme even more. I'm personally curious as to how the game will pan out. Even if it ends up being a flop, it deserves credit for its creativity.

It's got Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen, and the bionic woman, should be worth playing on that alone.
in one of the scenes where the character is sneaking around the grassy area, looks like they used the same 'alert' sound from the Metal Gear series (when he gets spotted).

Definitely worth trying at this point.
Star power doesn't mean a game is going to be great. It looks like a reskin of MGS but with more confusing plot elements and even more weird ****. There's nothing about DS that makes me want to play it. Cyberpunk 2077 is what I'm patiently waiting for.

Often just means they blew a lot of the budget on hiring those stars and sacrificed gameplay.

There is seriously nothing in that game's gameplay footage that makes me go, "damn, that looks awesome!" Instead it makes me roll my eyes and say, "meh."
I've been playing Dauntless on the PS4. It's a free-to-play game where the microtransactions appear to be mostly all for the bars or whatever currency. They're mostly cosmetic. The other package is some elite thing I don't plan on buying. This game is a lot like Monster Hunter World but not nearly as complicated.

Keanu isn't even close to being the best part about it. At least he has more staying power than Norman Reedus.
