I finally broke down & got The Witcher 3. $15 for the complete edition in the Playstation Store, so I figure if I don't like it, it's not a big loss money wise. I'll see how complicated the crafting system & how intimidatingly large the map is. I usually don't have much patience for massive RPGs like this (Skyrim, Fallout), but so far the early tutorials have been good.

Keep in mind you don't have to complete every white "?" on the maps, they're usually just means to get gear or maybe a few XP. The yellow "!" are more worthwhile...they trigger a side quest or monster contract which will usually result in $ and a larger amount of XP. The crafting system only gets complex when you're crafting witcher gear, which is strictly optional especially on the easier difficulties. Oils and potions are easy and require fairly common ingredients, and once crafted never need to be re-crafted (only replenished with meditation).

Don't rush through the game. For the most part, it's about the experience, storyline, characters, and taking many screenshots of the beautiful landscape. I think you'll enjoy the "real poetry session" in Novigrad.

Bought Sim City 4 again after a 5 year hiatus. Building a region on hard mode, almost at 2 million residents.

Yes, it is! I got the platinum trophy a couple weeks ago. Despite some of the technical hiccups, the story moved me at times, and the gameplay was pretty damn satisfying. Just wait until you face the horde at the sawmill. It's insane and awesome rolled in one.

I'm kind of ashamed to say I've relapsed on the Warcrack (classic).

I finally picked up a Nintendo Switch. I’ve been playing Tetris 99 and getting my butt kicked. Still a very fun and addicting game though.

Call Of Duty - Black Ops 4 Zombies. All this time that I've played these COD games, I never really got into playing the zombie part. But this is a LOT of fun.
