Need for Speed was great before it merged with Burnout.
I like the Playstation NFS games and Hot Pursuit 2 from the Playstation 2. The series went downhill from there with the Shift games being the only decent games.
Underground is to NFS what Resident Evil 4 is to Resident Evil. They weren't bad games but it was that moment where the series started getting worst.
1.Need for Speed (especially the Underground serie)
2.Mario Kart (Played this a lot on the N64)
3.Gran Turismo (I played number 3 the most)
4.Midnight Club
5.Burnout
6.F1
7.Colin McRae Rally
8.MotorStorm
9.WRC
10.Wipeout (Have only played the games from the 90's)
11.Forza (I don't play Xbox!)
Would you guys call Crazy Taxi and Stuntman racing games or not?
I would have to go with Need For Speed. Particularly NFS II, NFS III: Hot Pursuit (Both PC and PSX versions are different, but great), NFS: High Stakes (PC version is the best, but PSX is still fun), NFS: Hot Pursuit 2 (PS2 version was amazing, avoid the others), Underground (1 and 2, but I prefer the first), and Most Wanted (2005).
