Anyone have any thoughts on release date for this? They announced it at E3 last year and it's basically been radio silence since then.. It's up for pre-order at Best Buy, but that doesn't mean much.

E3 is less than a month away.. I'm guessing there'll be an announcement of some sorts then.

I gameplay of Stick of Truth was pretty bad.. But.. It was still a great game.. It made you feel like you were in an episode of South Park.

I really enjoyed the Stick of Truth and I enjoyed the gameplay too - though I was prepared for it by having played some jrpg games when I was younger
Seriously, what did you dislike about the gameplay ? To me it was really well thought out and the combat wasn't as easy as one might expect from a title that is based on a tv series.
I agree it was a great game and to me it felt more like a whole season than a single episode, and a great season at that. Can't wait for Fractured but Whole!

I played it on a PC, which.. May have somewhat tainted the experience. The controls were.. Meh on the PC.. I can see it being a bit better on Playstation or similar, but.. I got a PS4 after not having a 2 or 3, and they didn't port it over. So, PC was the only option.

The PC version was rather.. laggy with the controls. And there were a few places in the game, especially the Jimmy parts that would lag very badly.. Which, with the natural Jimmy lag, made it even worse.

Hmm, weird - I played it on a PC too. With a mouse + keyboard combo - had no noticeable lag whatsoever. And believe me, as someone who played (well, I still do, just not as much) a lot of online fps games, I am allergic to lag! If I had an experience like yours, I'd probably complain too. Without the lag spoiling my experience, I couldn't stop being amazed by all the little gameplay mechanics and design choices, and how well they were made.
Story wise the game was amazing, and I hope the follow up will be at least as good.
Yac.

12-6-2016 is the release date. Some new vids from E3 up today. Which, actually I thought were worse than the announce trailer from last year.

Totally going to buy it. I already have The Stick of Truth by way of Steam. I cannot wait to see what's in store for the masses when FBW comes out.

Pushed yet again.. Will ship 'a few months' after March 2017..

Which, of course, was last month.. June/July seems the best possible. The best they'll give is "Between March 2017 and April 2018"

Finally the release date is here. Hits tonight at midnight.

I preordered a few months ago and got Stick of Truth on Playstation 4.. It's a better experience on the console, although, there was actually more to the game on the PC version. I know that the barn sequence with the Nazi Cows was far more expansive on the PC than it was on the Playstation version.
