I'm not entirely sold on the idea of the Stadia. Don't get me wrong, there's some good stuff in there, but I dislike the dependency on dependency on streaming. What happens when Google pulls the plug on the service. Since it's all online, you will effectively lose access to the game.

Other than my concerns about lag, I'm equally concerned about content ownership and retention. Stadia is a subscription service, but you buy games, so if you stop subscribing, what happens to your owned content? I've got a few Gb of MP3s on Napster inaccessible because I let my subscription lapse, which was a point of frustration for the first few years.

Makes me wary though, and Google has been cutting some of its failed/failing services it tried to push against an established competitor, in this space there are several competitors.

I'm also wary of that model, unless the games are steeply discounted. I don't want to be paying $15/month or whatever for the service itself, then paying sticker price for a game, that when my subscription lapses, I can no longer enjoy.

That will definitely keep my purchases measured at first.
