Need a cheap wired router that will work for casual online gaming on my PS3. Anyone here have any recommendations? I'm looking at either this: Amazon.com: D-Link Ethernet Broadband Router EBR-2310: Electronics or this: Amazon.com: Linksys EtherFast Cable/DSL Router with 4-Port 10/100 Switch (BEFSR41): Electronics. Any others that I should be looking at?

D-link is good. Linksys is good. Netgear is good. Either one will do the trick for a wired router. If we were talking about wireless, that would be a different story.

I would recommend though, that you change the router's password away from the defaults.

Dude go wireless. PS3 has that built in (unlike the other box where you have to pay an extra $100). Who wants wires all over the living room?
