Hi everybody!
My husband has got a job near Danville, VA and we have to relocate as soon as possible. I am a TV producer, so we need advice on where to move so that I could find a job in TV/media. The commute could be 1-1.5 hours. The rent - approx. $1400/month. It would be ideal if there were some nice parks, restaurants, shops nearby.

I would appreciate any advice!

I'm not too familiar with that area of the state, but I do know that Danville is about 45 minutes from Greensboro, NC. That should have all of the television affiliates. Or if you move into northern Pittsylvania county, maybe around Chatham, or Gretna, you would be maybe an hour to Roanoke, VA. Smaller than Greensboro, but has all of the affiliates. That whole area of the state is dirt cheap, so I don't really think it matters what area you move into. Just from perception, you may not want to live right in Danville city. It isn't called "Dirtville" for nothing. Good luck!
