Currently i just moved from wisconsin to Newport News. My brother is moving down with his 2 little girls. I need to know of some REALLY good neighborhoods either around Newport News or Norfolk. One of them is in school right now too, any ideas on some really good school also?

If your going to live in Newport News, then steer clear of the east side and try to live as close to yorktown and williamsburg as possible. Even the north end up this way is not as nice as it used to be, alot of crime lately, but it is better to be in the north end than anywhere else in my opinion!

Yorktown would be the place to go if you have kids. IT's real boring but it has great public schools. Hampton is also pretty good b/c it has more diversity and more to do than y-town but its schools are just respectable.
