Driving to Florida from Cleveland next week and not sure which way to go.. we usually go down I-77 but am worried about flooding... but then I saw some flooding on I-75 around the WV/VA border.. Anybody know anything about either highway going through your state? Much appreciate anybody who can answer... thanx

75 doesn't go through VA or WV.
77 in VA is fine. There was no flooding in that part of VA during/after Matthew.

oh cool, then we can go 77 like we really wanted to go... We never go 75 so I got confused as to what states it went through.. I see now it goes through OH, KY, TN, GA, and FL. Where as 77 goes through WV, VA, NC, GA, and FL. Thanks for letting me know.. I hate driving through that part of VA anyway with all those mountains and steep cliffs and runaway truck stops! But I still think it's better than I-75!

Default Highway conditions

Not sure if there is a single point for all interstate conditions but I95 in eastern north Carolina is still closed in a couple places and will be until early November. Anything in the western parts of Virginia, the Carolinas or Georgia should be in good shape.

Even when the GPS's are routing around the closed interstates, they are only going 30 or so miles west of the closed interstate. North Carolina was by far the hardest hit.

The news, yesterday, said all of 95 had been reopened.

Yep. Last Friday northbound in north Carolina had one spot but by Sunday it was clear sailing. New York to Miami without a road closure on I95.
