All, I live in TX and have a current Level II (unarmed) license from that state. Would I be able to transfer it to Virginia or would I have to go through the licensing process all over again?

Thanks in advance

This does not answer your question, but you can communicate with this office to inquire about licensing.

This page, however, states, "Currently the only reciprocity agreement that is available is for private investigators. The states that qualify are North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Florida." https://www.dcjs.virginia.gov/conten...nts-are-effect
Good luck.

Hi,
No it would not transfer. Virginia is all about money so you would need to re qualify. I came from Colorado and had to do that for this state. They do not recognize other states.
