Dominion Energy now has a recycling program for no-cost refrigerator removal for VA customers. This is the first of a set of programs to help customers save money on electric bills and also reduce the need for more expensive power plants and the pollution they cause.

The program pays $20 for old refrigerator or freezers in working order, but use more electricity than new models. Old units are taken to a recycler to remove harmful materials and capture 95% of materials for reuse.
