If I give my employer 2 weeks notice that im quiting,and I work another 7 days before quitting what happens to my health insurance? Does my now former employer obliged to give me options for keeping this insurance?

If your employer had 20 or more employees, then you are eligible for COBRA, which allows you to continue with your current insurance, but the total cost of the insurance is on you. Your employer will no longer subsidize your coverage.

Correct. Get ready to pay upwards of $1500/month in premiums depending on how "good" the coverage is.
