Last year, VW went around the auto show curcuit with the concept called up! . Well, apparently a lot of people liked it, and VW will use the design for the next-gen Beetle!

I do see a similarity. But the one I saw in the LA auto show, had seats for four and was longer. It does have the "roller skate" look like the smart car. They even had a small micro-bus type concept.

I've heard VW facility at Puebla, Mexico (where NB is produced) is working already in the details of UP. Let's see if it comes soon to the public light.
