Watching Wheeler Dealers right now and they've restored a Volvo P1800. Honestly, I never saw nor heard of this model and it's lovely. It's basic shape is like the Studebaker Hawk. Didn't know Volvo made such a lovely car. Their styling today has gotten better but still not as beautiful as this model.

Just looked at it on Wiki and found this model holds the world's record for mileage, currently over 2 million miles on this one guy's car.

It's bring a trailer dot com. Not sure why it would be censored.

In the Ballard area of Seattle with the Scandinavian seafaring community tradition, still has several Volvo-only repair shops, and a few Volvo used parts stores. We see the 1960-1970s 1800s quite often there, as well as other survivor or restored classics such as the 1960 PV544.

My FIL had a p1800 coupe back in the 90/00's, until my MIL totaled it in an accident.

IIRC he told me it was an early James Bond car, but I see he misspoke and it was featured in "The Saint".

Nice looking car.

The 4 cylinder engine block in it is just a block from a Volvo 8 cylinder truck chopped in half - that's a big part of why they run for so long. Very nice cars.

Marilyn Cole's Playmate of the Year car was a playmate pink of this model.
Remember 1972 was the oil manufactured crisis. The years before that the
prize car was a Porsche Targa.
