I was wondering if anyone has switched over to direct energy since theres been a slew of power outages and i was wondering if its a scam or not.

Don't know about the company but it doesn't matter who supplies your electric if the lines come down. If you have Pepco or BGE now and change providers the juice comes into your house over the same lines you just get your electric from someone else and the current company transmits it to you.

Energy deregulation has come to Maryland. I know am with an excellent one. However, I hestitate to mention the name as I am new to the forum and don't want to violate any rules. Just to let you know you do have a choice and you can lower your energy bill.
