I will like some insight on my move to Rockville in a month, so please put yourself in my shoes and advice accordingly.
I will be working for a biotech firm, just out of college a year ago, and intend to go to med school next year so this is probably temporary relocation (1 yr).
I will be renting an apartment, preferably close to the Johns Hopkins campus in Rockville, as I am doing a part-time masters program there as well, and will like to know if that's a good area or where to look as well as price ranges and other things to consider.
I also will not be driving as I am selling off my car, just want to keep it simple and will liek to know about getting around by public transport around rockville.
Does that sound realistic?
Also, how's the social life in Rockville, everyone needs one (I'm 22 and intend to mingle with my age group.
Other activities and stuff to do in and around Rockville?
My cousin works there during the summers and says it's a really good town so I am initially taking her word for it.
Are their other things I may be missing in this post that I should know about?
Your responses will be highly appreciated and considered.
Thanks and God bless.

Rockville is nice....good area.

You will do fine because of the buses and metro access. As far as hanging out you can go to Bethesda which is like 15 minutes away or you can go into DC or Nova by Metro....Although I would never sell my car and competely rely on public transportation.......
