How much per month are you willing to spend on housing. It's extremely expensive here.

We could always recommend a place for $3000 a month... can you afford that? lol

If so, doubt you would be on here... lol

Hopefully you have a budget setup... lol

Is there anything nice around IBM? The cheaper the better as long as it is a decent neighborhood. I'd like something around the $1000-1200 rang I could do more and less would be nice

1. Yes, there is a bus route near IBM.

2. Gaithersburg / Montgomery Village has lots of apartments that are not that far from IBM. Some within walking distance. I'm thinking of Christopher Ave. It's not the nicest area, but it isn't bad.

' I can only talk about the general area. I live on another side of Gaithersburg. I can also recommend looking near Clopper rd. There's new development near Watkins Mill which is just up the road from IBM.

I was wanting to know your price range to recommend something in Bethesda or Rockville... while Gaithersburg is nice, it is not happening here.. I'm single, been here for two years...

It is cheaper than say rockville... I pay $1200 exactly... looking at places or a house right now in the $1500 to $1700 price range to get back into the mix.

Sure you could find "something" in your budget... but I'd try to get it up to $1400 or so... and don't forget utilities (which I'd guess you have not). But some places come with untilities included.

I "feel" safe here, but I'm not walking any place... bit spread out... not that bad to walk but a little far.

Find a realtor and see if you can get some deal down in Rockville... bethesda would be better.

Only problem is if you do not have a car, might be a pain getting to work... but working in Gaithersberg and driving from Bethesda would be grand... if you work mornings and get off in the afternoons...
