I love it when they renovate the outside and put a new sign up but don't renovate the inside...don't you think the people that shop there care more that the inside is nice than if it's got the new logo out front?

But I know there's that new shopping center right off 301 I guess in Brandywine that has Safeway, Target, and Costco all together. Speaking of which, I don't believe there are any club stores in Clinton, but Waldorf has all three of Costco, Sam's and BJ's. Although there aren't as many of those stores so there are a lot of towns where you'd have to drive 10+ minutes to get to one...

But she might be referring to stuff besides grocery stores. Waldorf has basically every big box store you can imagine (which of course to some is not always a good thing)
The Costco is in Prince George's County not Waldorf. The area is called Brandywine. The Sam's and BJ's are in Waldorf. There are other Costco's in Prince George's County as well. All of the "Clubs" are scattered throughout the county.

I said the Costco was in Brandywine, but I apologize since I said Waldorf has all three club stores, although that shopping center is basically on the border between Waldorf and Brandywine. But it is a closer drive from Clinton which is why I thought that may be one of the areas she was talking about going to. I don't think I knew Brandywine was in PG though...

I'm glad that you like it in Clinton. It's not a bad place at all, though it's grown a lot since I've lived there (I remember when there was no traffic at all driving through the intersection at B.K. Miller). There is a lot of history there with the Surratt House and some of the old plantations, plus you've got Cosca Park, and St. Charles mall is within reasonable driving distance. The schools are a major disappointment. For an area as nice as Clinton, you'd think that the schools would at least be decent. Surrattsville is a complete joke and I'd recommend sending the kiddos to a magnet school outside of PG if you decide to stay in the area and have children. You can certainly do a lot worse than Clinton.
