I am relocating to DC for a new job. I lived in Arlington for a while, moved to Baltimore and now heading back to DC. I am considering living in Bowie, MD and commuting to 15th Street, NW. I'll be on the road at 8am commuting in and heading out of DC to Bowie around 5:30pm. Has anyone done this commute? How long does it take? Am I better of living in Silver Spring from strictly a commuting standpoint? I'll be driving to and from work. Many thanks!

That time of day your commute will be an hour from Bowie. And depending on where you are in SS likely the same.

you could catch the Marc in Bowie to Union Station. From there most of 15st NW is off the red line, so you might be looking at 45min - 1 hour for a commute depending on where on 15th st you're going
