Holy crap! $10-$15k?? That's a ton of money. Did you call the M/I rep to ask about this? What did she say?

Default no longer looking HiddenCreek is good

Hello All,
so I have an offer on Hidden Creek now - it's not a brand new construction, it's one of the used ones, but it's beautifull and in great condition.
I can't wait to move.
I live close by and I have been in that area so many times now, that I can say it's definetly not downtown of Camden or not even close. Yes you will see mixed croud, but I think that it's a good thing.

Congratulations! I saw what appeared to be some really good deals on some of the existing homes for sale there. I hope you enjoy your new home.

Frank Law and others - Hidden Creek is no less or no more safe than any other area. The Summit Shopping Center (Goshen and Girard) is closed. New housing may be built there but it is still under consideration by the City Counsel. Too dense for the 6.5 acres. Developer has to make changes. The first thing that was supposed to be there was senior housing, why it didn't go forward is not known. That would have been great. But, since Asbury Methodist is now building ILPs to go along with their assisted living could be the reason. For those of you looking in Hidden Creek, you do know that there is more than one section. There is LandBay 1 which is on the corner of Goshen and Emory Grove and they have garage townhomes and single family home and then there is LandBay2 which is entered into on Mid-County Highway. They are single family homes. LandBay 1 is spacious and has lots of greenspace with buffering from other developments. Hope you and other keep looking at Hidden Creek.

dkf747 - Giant is on Goshen and Snouffer School and so is Safeway. There is always Magruders on Quince Orchard or Costco on Christopher or Bloom just before Costco. I promise you won't starve.

bradiebea or anyone else who lives in the Hidden Creek area:

I understand there's a shuttle bus that goes from that bus stop on Odenthal (I think) to Shady Grove Metro.

Has anyone ever taken that bus? Do you feel safe on it?

Have you taken it late at night?

Thumbs up I live in Hidden Creek

FrankLaw,
I've never taken that Bus, but I am pretty sure that nothing will happen on the Gaithersburg bus - I used to catch 59 (sometimes late at night), and I am a female. Nothing ever happened to me...
So I am living in Hidden Creek, and it's great. I love it.
