I'm starting a new job next week in Vienna and am curious how long it would take me to go from the Grosvenor area of North Bethesda to Vienna. I'm not positive yet what time I would be needing to get to work but lets say 8-8:30am and I would be leaving ~5pm. Thanks in advance for any help/advice!

While I cant answer your exact question I am familiar with that commute. I was apartment hunting in Rockville while staying in Centerville. During rush hour it took approx 2 hours, while non-rush hour times were closer to 1 hour.

I know Vienna is closer to N. Bethesda than Centerville, but not by much. I didnt wake up at 5am so I am not sure what your commute will be.

Leaving at 5pm you are going to hate life.
