I'm looking for Missionary Baptist churches in the Hyattsville, College Park, Beltsville area. Anyone out there know a good place? (not opposed to AME Z, or COGIC, either)

I live in the area, but I go to a church in DC. Not far 20 minutes. Your option are wide open being so close to DC. I'm not familiar with churches in and around northern PG.

I'm not familiar with churches in the northern part of the county but you can look into the ones listed below.

There used to be a Carolina Missionary Baptist Church near Bowie, but it moved to Friendly (Fort Wash.), MD several years ago.

My church is New Life Christian Center in Laurel, Maryland (PG County part of Laurel). It's located at 9844 Mallard Drive, Laurel MD 20708. It's right off of the Baltimore Washington Parkway (take the 197 exit).

I think the way we need to describe the different sections, akin to separate villages, to be humorous at times. I live in the Camp Springs area of Temple Hills. When people hear the words Temple Hills it flicks an instant switch in their minds instigating negative connotations. My zip code shuts down some when they hear it. That's what happens when the state redistricts and the USPS builds new post offices.
