Is it just me or does it seems like every time a body is found in PG it more than likely is in Fort Washington. Persons are usually killed somewhere else but they bring their happy butts over to FW and dump them here. I am just curious what compels people to choose this area? Is it the rural aspects of the area?

Yeah it has been a trend. There are some neglected areas around Fort Washington. I wonder if it will change once the police station is finished. Remember the guy who used to live in Alexandria that got dumped in a well off of Old Fort Road? They said the property was vacant since the mid 90s. I think the county deserves blame for neglected places like that being a haven for crimes like this too.

I read the story about the young woman found in a creek in Fort Washington. One of the commenters claimed there is a crack house near the creek, everyone knows about it but nothing is done about it. Of course I don't know if that's true, but I wonder if the authorities will look into it.

Yeah hopefully that will improve things. It just gives a perception that things are worse than they actually are?

I read about that. Based on who they thought it was i dont believe ot was driug related. Don't know if that is true about the crack house seems a littlel off base for the area.

I feel bad for DC.
The thugs in Baltimore have Leakin Park right there in the City limits for their bodies .
Heck... they can almost commute it on the MTA.

Have you ever read any of George Pelecanos' "Nick Stefanos" books?

Nick's Trip - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia <-- Worth looking for.

Don't look at me, I try to keep Fort Washington beautiful. I just dump all my bodies over in District Heights.
