Funny I can't see any outside pictures of the structure. Is it hidden in one of the pre-existing buildings? How much has changed from the original design?

I drove past the location last night it is in one of the pre-existing buildings. It is right across from where they plan to build their final home once they raise the money to construct it.

I read an article last night that constellation energy donated $1 million for the outdoor portion. Not sure if that is all they needed.

Yeah I read that article too. The last estimate I heard for construction was 130M so that would not be enough lol. The problem has been that not-for-profit have seen a significant drop in donations since 2008. That said, NCM has struggled with their fundraising efforts. Hopefully this expanded facility(with an entrance fee) will help get them closer to their goal. Especially with the outlet and the possible casino resort driving more foot traffic to the area.

Was that $130 million figure for the original design with the golden spire? That seems a bit much for just the outdoor portion.

Yep that was for the original building that included the outdoor space. Remember that building was supposed to be a LEED certified building with a 100K sf of exhibition space.
