I'm a respectful drive. I completely forbid myself to pass on the right and zig zag. Sure, I'll drive up to 90mph sometimes but always on the left and when it doesn't bother anybody.
Driving here is out of control. It's not the speed, it's the crazy behaviors. Always trying to pass people on the right, tailgaiting, etc..
Frankly, I think you might be one of the person making life harder for everybody out there. Here's a tip for you: If one day you realize you are tailgating a very old GMC pickup truck, from the early 80s, on the Balt-Wash parkway, you have very little time to gather yourself and put some distance. I'll get you.
Sincerely
haha, yea, old GMC pickup truck, sounds about right for a clueless left lane hogger.

All I ask is that people keep right except when passing and if you notice you are creating congestion behind you, then why not just move over and let traffic flow more smoothly? I don't drive the BW parkway often, but I'm sure that people like you get on there where it's only two lanes each way and drive 50mph next to another car going 50mph for ten miles while there is no traffic in front of you and congestion building behind you. What is the point of CREATING congestion and road rage? People must get some sort of enjoyment out of doing that.

Sounds like you go all the way to Lessburg, or close. If I had to go that far I would do the same.

Ashburn, but I get off on 28. There's no way to avoid, or reduce the toll on the Greenway, so I never use it.

Default People who slam on their brakes because they think you're tailgating them

If I wanted to I could post aggressive driving stories everyday.

Here is one related to this topic but there was no "think" about it. This guy was a monster.

Yesterday morning there was a 5 car accident on I 495 between Georgia Ave. and Connecticut Ave outer loop. It made me one hour late for work. The timing was very poor or I would have went the other way.

The exact same spot this morning, traffic was moving about 40-45 MPH. This is one of the worst stretches for aggressive driving because when the traffic breaks up some people drive like idiots to make up for lost time.

I had a guy who was right on my tail. I put on my signal to get out of his way. I was finally able to make my move over which didn't take too long. I let him pass, young guy, foreigner, about 25 years old in a Nissan Sentra.
I made the mistake to get back behind him. He did the same thing to the next vehicle. Jerk was practially riding her bumper. She hit the brakes but did not stop. It was very close. As I said I was right behind him so I had to hit the brakes too.

I wanted to give the young woman who looked to be about 21 a lecture as to not do that again. The jerk in the Sentra passed on the right, in a hurry to get to the stopped traffic at the River Road exit. Said young woman did move over and that's when I passed to get a good look at her. IMO she could have moved over earlier but like I said traffic was heavy and she probably lacked the experience to make a timely and safe move. She does deserve a little credit for getting out of the left lane but it was pure supidity on her part to hit the brakes like she did.
