I work in Arlington so my son currently goes to Bright Horizons there which is an amazing preschool. I'm thinking about taking a job in Clinton, but I'm worried about the quality of preschools there. Does anyone have any recommendations?? We live in Landover and I don't like the choices here and I really like commuting with him.

Couple resources to suggest. There's a yahoo group called PGParents made up of parents in Prince George's County. We regularly discuss pre-schools/daycares on that list.

Another resource is Maryland Child Care Find - it lists all licensed child care centers, schools, and family day cares. The search function is a bit wonky - do the search several times using variations on the same address or zip code and you'll get different results every time.

You can also use google maps - put your work address in to google maps, then click on the "Search Nearby" option - use different variations on school, preschool, kindergarten, day care to see what comes up.

Parents everywhere want good quality education for their children, so I would expect that there should be some options in Clinton, too.
