Is Grosvenor area boring?
I am unable to see any form of retails and entertainment establishment in that area?
Or, is it my wrong observation? - May be people who live in Grosvenor area take metro and go to either Bethesda or DC to have fun?
I just wanted to get your opinion?
Please do NOT start a flame war as this post is intended to field your knowledge about the Grosvenor area.

Thanks in advance!

The area around Grosvenor station is strictly residential however you are just minutes away from White Flint, Montgomery mall, Bethesda, and DC. Silver Spring and Wheaton aren't that far either if you catch the bus or drive.

Depends what you are looking for. The only "entertainment" is at nearby malls and strip malls, with the expected chains (restaurants and a multiplex), with a few exceptions. If you are able to drive, or put in some time on the bus or Metro, you have more options within about 5 miles. If you want to walk to cool stuff in your neighborhood, except for Strathmore, good luck. What makes me laugh are all the claims are about "close to exciting Bethesda nightlife."
