I think the outer shell will be done by mid to late winter depending on the whether. In driving by it you can really see the scale of the property. Its impressive. I am looking forward to hearing about the confirmation of restaurants and shops. Also interested in hearing about how they plan to utilize the entertainment venue. Specifically will there be concurrent performances, will there be a permanent attraction like cirque etc....

Other than the list we already heard about, nothing new. I'm more interested in the retail. It would be nice if there were a Tiffany's. They are at some MGM properties.

Prince George’s considers connecting with Capital Bikeshare

Quote:
We have 1,500 residents here at National Harbor, and a lot of them take Metro, so there’s a great opportunity for people to bike-share to King Street Metro,” said Deborah Topcik, a marketing manager for National Harbor.

Topcik said bringing Capital Bikeshare to the waterfront community would not only offer a good amenity for tourists but also provide an alternative mode of transportation between southern Prince George’s and Northern Virginia.
Quote:
she said. National Harbor envisions several bike stations, including one at Tanger Outlets on Oxon Hill Road

Well duh! It took them this long to figure that out? Also, I wonder what this does concerning what College Park has done with signing up with another vendor called Zagster who isn't compatible with Capital Bikeshare. Perhaps there will be a mix.

Restaurants from José Andrés, Marcus Samuelsson and Voltaggio brothers coming to MGM National Harbor - Washington Business Journal

Seems like MGM is going all in for the big name restaurants I wonder what other variety we may see there.

Ha! I'm a bit under the weather. Woke up late. But I did read the article. Pretty nice lineup. I can't wait to try them all. It will be very nice to say I'm going to Oxon Hill for some fine dining. And soon after that, College Park! Woo hoo!

I know one other restaurant will feature the Neely husband and wife team.

That's a good rest selection, and a welcome change from all the crap at both National Harbor and the Gaylord itself, and a nice bounce back for Jose after the Trump/Old Post Office debacle.
Bet there will be a lot more visitors to MGM, than the Trump hotel.
