I'd say either Hilton Brands or Marriott brands. Nothing fancy like Ritz Carlton. MGM will take care of the upscale lodging. Although the Gaylord is pretty pricey. It would be nice if there were a nice little non-chain boutique hotel in downtown National Harbor.

@urbanscholar- I would assume we will here alot of big news in the next 2 months to coincide with the MGM announcement as well.

The only expansion slated for the Children's Museum is that outdoor space they are building on what was originally supposed to be the museum building. I thought the same thing about the aquarium. The only downside to that is that it would be replicating what they have at the Inner Harbor which may not be what Peterson wants...still would be a great idea....maybe they would do their own. There are a bunch of orphan and delayed museums and exhibits that could be placed at the harbor to create more points of interests...you should send your suggestions to Peterson..If enough of us say the same thing they may add it.........Yeah I am looking forward to hearing about what's coming up....the Tanger Outlet opening will definitely create energy so they need to keep that up.

A doubletree would be cool or one of Starwood's brands. Marriott has a significant presence already.

Im not sure if this has already been answered or if it is known publicly, but will Tanger outlets have any sort of food amenities at the immediate location or will patrons have to go to the harbor for those options? Hopefully that wont be the case, but I haven't seen any mention to any sort of food related elements

Not sure is the full list..but hidden away on the Tanger Outlet National Harbor site is this directory page which they currently dont link to from the main page. Im assuming it will go fully live with the outlet map closer to the gran opening. The options for food is quite limited at this point though

1) Auntie Anne's
2) Johnny Rockets
3) Starbucks
4) Fudgery
5) Harry and David.

Other information gleamed also shows the hours of operations and center events during november and decemeber
