Not that I know of..They open on 11/22 which is a week before Thanksgiving. Although there will probably be a crowd over that weekend (especially Saturday), it won't be as bad as Black Friday.

Theory - Definitely luxury retail. Tee-shirts at their regular store are $145?
Oops - Seems like another Spencers
Go! Calendar - Reminds me of the calendar kiosks in malls.
Dazzle - ???
Andrew Marc - reminds nme of a Kenneth Cole type store. upscale, but not out of reach.

I really hope people act civilized. Pentagon City got crazy for a while with unruly teenagers. Of course these outlets will be accessible only by car. Undoubtedly there will be some thefts. This will be the closest outlet for those in DC, Alexandria, and PG. Tanger has a very prime location in terms of local buying power so close by.

My thoughts exactly and I was trying to figure out what Dazzle was as well.Google turned up nada. I figure that some of these stores ar placeholders until other brands with better branding show an interest. We will see.

I hope they will as well. Hopefully assessibility and police presence will serve as a deterent. NH must make sure that it remains a safe environment since it will be a significant influence on future projects there.

Default Metro abandons plan to eliminate southern Prince George’s County bus route

This is a good start but I am still curious to see how they will address the NOVA issue. Aside from tourist there are people who work there but commute from VA.

That is good to hear but I think the fire station and the the completion of the road were a base requirement that couldn't change. On another note, the PTA at the adjacent elementary school kills me. They are worried about safetey due to Wal-Mart but are not expressing the same concern about the existing retail and hospitality establishments or the traffic on OHR that could be as equally or even more dangerous ....smh.

Nicole Nelson, vice president of the John Hanson Montessori School Parent Teacher Student Association, said the changes weren’t enough to warrant her
support because she fears there won’t be enough security at the location. Nelson participated in a protest on Oct. 24 with other parents of John Hanson
Montessori School students and Oxon Hill High School students, another school less than a mile south of the proposed Wal-Mart. The protestors had concerns
about traffic and pedestrian safety. “Our children’s safety is paramount,” Nelson said.Henneberg said the company will work with the community to ensure
the store is safe.

I agree. "Henneberg said the company will work with the community to ensure
the store is safe." Yes the store not the community. There is a liquor store across the street as another person previously commented that has not been a issue of safety. The schools is a specialty school so Im assuming the student body doesn't represent the majority of community since they come from all different areas. Maybe more effort could be spent trying to partner the school with walmart to provide resources the school could use as a friendly neighbor.During rush hour its impossible to get in and out of the schools parking lot now. Walmart cant make it any worse. If this is built I hope petterson continues development at rivertowne starting with a new theater.
