That's not bad. I didn't even know it existed. Looks pretty new. But I think the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center is another good venue. Venues and Seating Charts | Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center

I think what we're looking for is a Birchmere, Fillmore type venue. I think it's great that the county has world-class performing arts stages at both its universities, but there needs to be a place for rock concerts, etc.

Dc conducting a finding report of extending streetcar to National harbor. I personally think you see streetcar and metro rail coming into NH in accordance with MGM.

Well MGM has already committed to creating a wheel trolley system that operate within the harbor grounds. May extend further at some point.

@urbanscholar where did you hear about the MGM sponsored intra harbor trolley? Also, nat harbor has installed a jumbotron in the main plaza (like merrifield).

I'm not sure I like that Jumbotron. When I first read your post, I assumed it was against a building facing the river. They just obliterated the view from the plaza.

They are going a little too far now. They are trying to do too much. The Ferris Wheel was fine, but the Jumbotron seems pointless.

Yea, I'm not a fan of the placement. It would be much better up against a building.

I understood the rationale. They can gain ad dollars during festivals/peak seasons. Also, they can do the movies on the potomac, as well as show cartoons to attract a family consumer base early morning on the weekends.
