looks like i would be living in silver spring
and is camp springs a safe to work?
i will be working at an office there, not in the neighborhood
safety in terms of leaving the office at night, personal safety, and car theft/vandalism

I put the address of the Social Security Administration office into spotcrime, and it shows a lot of thefts and assaults. That was 6110 Allentown Road. You should try it with the specific address where you will be working.

I would ask your future employer what safety measures they have in place for employees who have to work late. EG, can a security guard escort you to your car? That is typical for employers who know the enviroment is a bit unsafe. They also should have lights in the parking lot and security cameras. Remember, it is the employer's responsibility to ensure your safety at the job site.
