We are moving to Bethesda from the Chapel Hill / Durham area of North Carolina where we enjoy an abundance of independent coffee shops and roasters, delicious restaurants with locally sourced menus, and a gorgeous variety of NC breweries.

So if I went looking for independent and local coffee, bakeries, and breweries in Bethesda, MD what I am looking for?

Also a few miles over in Silver Spring where i once lived is a locally owned brewery called Hook and Ladder. Additionally, Mrs. K's is worth a visit.

Given the area you will be living in, I think you will fin everything you are looking for and more. Good Luck
