NOVA has their own board. Now it's time for Montgomery, Prince Georges, Frederick, Charles, Calvert and even St. Mary's to come together and have their own board. It can be called Suburban Maryland or just the DC Suburbs. Who's with me???!

Northern Virginia is it's own little world today.
Yes, they always wanted to be away from DC, due to the river, due to being a district 2/3rd wrapped by Maryland, and many old blue bloods being Virginian's.
Today, most of Virginia does not even claim N.Virginia due to the DC influence and liberal mindset, so I guess they have seperated themselves into their own expensive world

Keep in mind that Virginia is a Commonwealth whereas MD and DC are a state and district, respectively. VA is not MD though it is very much accessible to DC; my sister lives in Arlington and they are tight with their proximity to the district.
