I remember reading about this a few years back. There aren't a lot of jobs tied to it once it is up and running (400 construction and 25 permanent) but I it is good to see PG leveraging incentives to expand its portfolio. Especially in the southern part of the county.

It makes sense. Brandywine is growing. We might as well generate our own electricity rather than having to purchase it from someone else.

Not really, the power generated will go into the Pepco grid. This actually will replace the plant being shut down will replace the plant being shut down at Chalk Point.

Notice the "incentives".
