Hello,
I will be starting a new job in Silver Spring at the end of next month. I am a single male relocating from Pennsylvania. I have relatives who live in Ellicott City which I have visited quite often. I've driven from Ellicott City to Silver Spring during rush hour a couple of times and it only took about 30 minutes each way (primarily using Route 29). I'm leaning toward looking for a rental for 6-12 months to see how the job goes etc. I'd like to live close to my relatives and am wondering if there are any apartment complexes which anybody would recommend (and also avoid) in the nearby vicinity of Ellicott City. I've already looked at rent.com and apartments.com and haven't been very impressed by what I've seen. I know that I'll need to visit the area soon and see some of these places with my own two eyes. Any feedback would be appreciated!
